YOU CAN EXPECT THE FOLLOWING WHEN YOU VISIT US

You can expect to receive a friendly welcome when you visit us. We are a small, growing, Bible based congregation that takes great pride in being friendly. Our services follow the New Testament example of the first century Christians.

We regularly assemble twice on Sunday for worship services. We also have Bible classes on Sunday morning and Wednesday evenings.

Should you be at our Sunday morning worship service, you can expect the following schedule:
  • We start with announcements, mainly for information for our congregation.
  • We have acappella congregational singing which is lead by one man. We do not use musical instruments and we do not have a praise team or a choir.
  • We have prayers throughout the service lead by one of the men of the congregation.
  • We also have a communion service every week as the Christians did in the first century. We eat unleavened bread and drink fruit of the vine in memory of the death of Christ. Christ volunteered to die by crucifixion for our sins.
  • We will have a message from our minister on a Biblical subject.
  • A collection will be taken only once per week to pay the expenses of the Church. The collection plate will be passed to all present. This is for the convenience of the local membership. You are not expected to contribute, but may do so if you wish.
  • You will be given a time at the end of the service to respond to accept Christ and to be baptized.

Should you be at our Sunday evening service, the order will be about the same as the morning service. We do not take communion or take up a collection on Sunday evening. However, communion will be offered to those who do not have an opportunity to attend a Sunday morning service.

You are also invited to Bible study on Sunday morning one hour before the worship service and on Wednesday evening. Either time you can expect a Bible subject to be taught. At these classes we will have at least one prayer and one song. We do not take a collection at either class.

The last Sunday of the month we have a "pot luck" luncheon right after the worship service. If you are visiting on that Sunday, you are invited to eat with us. We always have plenty of food.

Our building is under construction for a general remodeling, additional class rooms and a new fellowship hall. Please be careful when you enter and exit the building.
